Fast-track into Nursing
Our 16-month Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program in Syracuse and Albany, and our transfer program path in Albany take the wait out of getting into a quality nursing school. We offer three starts a year, rolling admission, and convenient online access to degree requirements that need to be met before enrollment.
Utica ABSN Program and Transfer BSN Program
Accelerate your career change to nursing through Utica University’s CCNE-accredited Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program located in Syracuse and Albany, New York. If you have the passion to care for others as a registered nurse and you meet our admission requirements, the ABSN program or the Transfer BSN pathways may be the right fit for you, although please note that the Transfer BSN pathway is only offered in Albany.
Our rigorous blended online-onsite ABSN curriculum builds on your existing non-nursing college credits, making it an ideal path for those who desire a fast track into the nursing field. It’s also an excellent option because it has:
- Three start dates a year — in January, May and August — so you can avoid a nursing school waitlist.
- Accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), so you can feel confident you’re receiving a quality degree from a trusted, non-profit institution.
A No-Waitlist Path to Nursing School
From our program site locations in Syracuse and Albany, New York, we offer an accessible route to a quality nursing education for qualified applicants. Between our three program start dates per year and rolling admission process, we eliminate the waiting period often associated with getting into nursing school.
That means, depending on your desired program site location, if you have at least 65 college credits with a 2.8 cumulative GPA, or a non-nursing degree, you can start either the ABSN program in Syracuse or Albany or Transfer BSN program pathway in Albany as soon as you’re ready.
